Erin Wright is a multidisciplinary artist based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Erin has an extensive background in ballet and modern dance and pivoted to creating visual art at age eighteen. Erin attended Georgia State University and earned a degree in Studio Art with a minor in Psychology. She captures the joy of life and movement through her imaginative paintings and sculptures. She utilizes bright colors to display a sense of exuberance and whimsy in her abstracted compositions. She is well versed in various painting mediums and enjoys working on a large scale. She also enjoys ceramics, sculpture and creating functional objects. She explores themes of catharsis, celebration, and human intimacy in her work. She is also inspired by her extensive travels and her time living in Italy and Miami. Her work has been shown locally and internationally. She hopes to continue to explore new mediums and always have creation as the center of her life. Erin is experienced in gallery management, art administration, art handling, large scale painting projects and set decoration.
